The annual Green Health Cultural Festival is back and better than ever! Join us on Saturday, November 11th, from 9 AM to 2 PM at the North Mobile County Food Park in Prichard, Alabama, located at 204 S. Wilson Avenue.
The Collard Green Festival celebrates all things related to southern cooking, healthy living, and community involvement. This year's festivities include:
Collard Green Cookoff - Attendees can watch local chefs and cooks compete for best dish made with collard greens. The winning chef takes home a $100 gift card.
Green Health Fashion Show (Come wearing green!) - Don't miss out on our unique style display, where participants can strut their stuff wearing pieces designed by talented local fashion designers. Everyone is welcome to join in! Please wear green!
Vendors - Fresh seafood, locally grown produce, baked goods, tea vendors and more will offer delicious treats and goodies.
Children's Activities - There will be plenty of fun for the little ones! Jumping houses, collard green planting, arts and crafts and other educational activities will keep them entertained while parents shop and enjoy the food.
Entertainment - DJ Howard & singing and dance performances!
Overall, this festival is a great opportunity to learn about healthy food, sample delicious food and drink, support local businesses, and have a wonderful time with friends and family
