Since 2008, the Coastal Alabama Down Syndrome Society (CADSS) has hosted its annual Buddy Walk, promoting acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down Syndrome. Our 2025 Buddy Walk will be held Saturday, March 22nd, at the Loxley Municipal Park. Along with the one mile walk, our event also features games for all ages, special guests, a DJ, food, and much more. Last year’s walk attracted more than 1000 people!
This event and our organization are wholly run by volunteers and we need your help! We will have positions ranging from food servers to game attendants to event cleaners & ice/water restocking (and more). Please consider coming to help us out. Food & drinks will be provided throughout the day.
