The JAWS (Jazz Art Writers South) Festival and USA Libraries are hosting four events featuring jazz and poetry in the Marx Library Meeting Room 181. These events are Tuesdays, May 7, May 21, and June 18, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Volunteers can sign up for whichever date works best for them.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Welcome guests to the event
- Direct guests to the meeting/event spaces
- Assist with event seating/ushering
- Assist with event set-up/teardown
Volunteers are asked to check in at the Marx Library circulation desk circulation desk upon arrival and welcome to enjoy the music and poetry when not helping with the event.
