Description

Tri The Gulf is a "sprint" triathlon held on Dauphin Island, Alabama.  It is organized by the Mobile Bar Foundation.  A triathlon is a multi-sport competition of 3 continuous and sequential endurance sports: swimming, bicycling, and running.  Triathletes compete for the best overall course completion time.

Volunteers are needed (See Needs).  The Mobile Bar Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable entity.  All proceeds benefit charitable and civic endeavors in the Mobile-Southwest Alabama area, such as: Adoption Rocks!, the Assistance League of Mobile, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama, Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama, the Drug Education Council, The Learning Tree, Legal Services of Alabama, the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyer Program, the Re-Entry Assistance Program, and the Mobile Volunteer Guardian Program.
