One in 59 children are now diagnosed with some form of autism. The Learning Tree opened Woody's Song school in 2009 to address the specialized needs of these children in Mobile. The private school benefits from the support of United Way of Southwest Alabama, local foundations and parent fundraising. Chip in for Autism is one of the major events supporting the school The four-man scramble, includes refreshments and dinner. Registration begins at 11:30 am. Shotgun start at 1:00 pm. $60 per player registration fee. Sponsorships are available. All proceeds benefit Woody's Song School, a non-traditional day school for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.
