Join Mobile Baykeeper as we work to remove Apple Snails in Three Mile Creek. This invasive species has spread through Three Mile Creek and we are working to stop its movement toward the Mobile River and the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. We will meet at Langan Park by the lake from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. to collect snails and egg masses as well as cleanup trash in the park. Wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little dirty and comfortable hard bottom shoes. Bring a kayak or canoe to reach snails that are not easy to access on the banks.
Supplies will be provided. Come and go as your schedule allows.
