Who We Are

AIDS Alabama South is dedicated to eliminating new HIV infections and improving the health and well-being of people living with HIV through inclusive and empowering support services and HIV prevention education. With our vision being to end the HIV epidemic in Southwest Alabama, our goal is zero infections and zero stigma.

What We Do

AIDS Alabama South provides essential life-sustaining services to those we serve across 12 counties (Mobile, Escambia, Baldwin, Butler, Clarke, Choctaw, Conecuh, Wilcox, Marengo, Monroe, Covington, and Washington) and 12,545 square miles of Southwest Alabama.

If a client is HIV positive we assign them to a social worker who connects them with a continuum of care which includes medical needs, financial and housing assistance, mental health counseling, nutrition support, peer groups and transportation. We continue to expand our social services to ensure more people from our community have timely, compassionate access to the health services they need.
