CPR Initiative, an AED Project at South Alabama

The CPR Initiative is a novel, student-led Initiative that aims to educate and train all incoming freshmen at the University of South Alabama in CPR and AED use.

Working alongside multiple on-campus departments, the CPR Initiative is training freshmen through First Year Experience and Honors 101 classes. Volunteers that are AHA CPR certified act as facilitators, utilizing the AHA Family and Friends CPR course to train (not certify) incoming students.
