Thursday, September 14th, is our university-wide career fair event open to all majors.
Help is needed before, during, and after the event to assist with set up, take down, and general hospitality and assistance.
A volunteer shirt will be provided for volunteers to wear with black, khaki, or navy blue pants of their own. Jeans may be worn as long as they do not have rips or tears in them and meet the minimum business casual attire required for the participants at the event. Volunteers are asked to dress accordingly as they will be representing the university and may be turned away if they are not appropriately dressed. Shorts, skirts, and open-toed shoes are not appropriate to wear to this event as a volunteer. Some volunteers will assist the employer representatives with bringing in/taking out materials, so comfortable shoes for walking would be advised.
Volunteers are needed in shifts as listed below.
9:00 am until 11:00 am: General setup is needed, including providing handouts to employers, and assisting employers with unloading
11:00 am until 2:00 pm: General hospitality and assistance in various locations around the concourse and John Counts Room
