Volunteers are invited to sign up and walk in the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) fun 5K walk event on Saturday, April 6th. The NAMIWalk brings together people of all ages and fitness levels. Raising awareness and having lots of folks turnout for the walk is an important part of why we walk, so even if you are unable to raise money -- your presence will have a positive impact!
Registration is required, but there is NO registration fee. Participants are encouraged to build a team and fundraise to support the work of the local, regional, and/or state NAMI organization. Participants raising $100 or more will receive a NAMIWalks T-shirt on Walk Day. If you need more information about creating a team, the coordinator's contact information is: khani52@comcast.net.
