To Make A Difference... You Must Be Different!
Be a Difference Maker at the 2019 Special Olympics! This event provides several track & field events for special needs athletes to engage and compete, as well as a day full of fun community involvement! It is our biggest fundraiser and profits directly provide opportunities for our athletes all year long.
When: Friday, April 12, 2019
Where: St. Paul's Episcopal School - Track/Field behind the school. (park in the field parking right off Old Shell Road, but please park away from the entrance gate so that wheelchair athletes can park closer to the gate)
What: Chaperones for athletes; event timers/heat escorts; event check-ins; handing out rewards; coach assistants; huggers!
Wear: Appropriate comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. It tends to be pretty warm.
T-Shirts: Please join HB Productions in supporting Mobile Area Special Olympics by purchasing a Comfort Colors t-shirt. ALL proceeds directly benefit our area athletes. Shirts will be available for pickup at the Special Olympics Track & Field event on Friday, April 12th at the St. Paul's Stadium. If you have a large group order and would like to make special arrangements to pick up your order prior to the event, please contact a Special Olympics committee member or email your request to mobilecospecialolympics@gmail.com.
