If you would like to train to become certified ropes course facilitators on Camp Grace's ropes course, RESPOND today, as space is limited.
Camp Grace is the home of numerous camps throughout the year including Camp Rap-A-Hope, Coastal Camp Seale Harris, Camp SMILE, and others. Working with a variety of organizations that focus on providing recreational camping experiences for children with health issues as well as providing opportunities for other groups to have unique experiences only found here, Camp Grace has a mission to create a fun and adventurous environment for all campers and participants. Campers find a unique experience where the "norm" is very different than ordinary life -- all the campers may have diabetes or cancer or cerebral palsy in any given camp. Family members are often included as well.
Volunteer trainees will learn group facilitation, safety specifics, rescue protocols, knot tying, and processing a ropes course.
The training will occur on April 27 & 28, 8am to 4pm (both days).
Lunch will be provided.
* All volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes and fill out a waiver form on site before assisting with the program.
