Disaster Assessment Fundamentals is a basic level course that is available in two formats: web-based and instructor-led. The course introduces the tasks and responsibilities of Disaster Assessment responders on a disaster relief operation. Both formats cover the same content. Participants have the option of choosing the format that is best suited to their learning preferences. This fact sheet describes both formats unless otherwise indicated. • At the end of the online course, participants are requiredtotake a quiz and pass with a score of 80% or higher to earn a course certificate. • Classroom participants must attend the entire course and complete the classroom activities to earn a course certificate. No assessment is required
