This session is for people who are interested in volunteering with United Way of Southwest Alabama and the SAFE Coalition in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
The purpose of this session is to gain experience with the Taxwise software that we use in the volunteer program, and to ask for assistance with particular topics or tax areas. There is not a formal agenda; rather the course of discussion is steered by participants. If you've done taxes before or you've been a VITA/TCE volunteer in the past, register for this session and we'll make sure you have what you need to train with us.
